"RAKU" Is a Japanese technique of firing ceramics.
Fumed copper oxide on Raku vases gives an infinite spectrum of colours and surface qualities.
What makes raku firing unique is that no one knows how the final piece will turn out as the fire has the final say.
Please note: This product is handmade from stoneware, meaning that every single object is unique. Hand wash only and use a soft sponge with warm water. Ceramics can be fragile, so be careful when handling the object. Scratches, flaws and small cracks are all parts giving the object a soul. We embrace those imperfections and so should you.
